Markus Eschbach
Markus Eschbach, qualified social educator, qualified riding teacher, horse trainer
Markus (1968) spent half of his life in the saddle. From 1990 until 1993 he trained as a social educator in Basel (Switzerland). At the start of his career he worked with handicapped and socially difficult children and youngsters, teaching them therapeutic riding. Later, he discovered Fred Rai and natural bit-less riding. Fred and his work left a deep impression on Markus and he decided to join Fred at his training center in Dasing (US). But his enthusiasm for natural horsemanship pushed him further; Markus trained at GaWaNi Pony Boy in the US and at Heinz Welz in Germany. After many years of learning and discovering, Markus gathered all his acquired knowledge and together with his experience in Indian Riding and horsemanship, created his own style.
In 1998 he founded the riding- and training center Finca Verde in Teneriffa, Spain. On the island he and his wife Andrea taught Indian Riding, horsemanship and round pen training for beginners and advanced. As the demand for the coursed increased, Markus and Andrea embarked on the journey of teaching seminars all over Europe, e.g in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. Participants may bring their horses to these seminars and are shown a completely different method of how to establish their relationship. The result is a new, harmonious partnership between horse and human.
Since 2008 Markus has been living in Waldshut-Tiengen (Germany), together with his wife Andrea and their two daughters, Livia and Alina. He is teaching at the training center 'Farmers Place' in Kleindöttingen (Switzerland) and in various European countries.
