Andrea Eschbach
Qualified physiotherapist, Indian Riding teacher, horse trainer, qualified and certified trainer Dual Activity according to Michael Geitner
From 1995 until 1999 Andrea trained as a physiotherapist in Basel, Switzerland, and it was during this time that she came in contact with therapeutic riding. Already as a child she had spent a lot of time at the stables and took riding lessons (jumping, dressage). Andrea also acquired a lot of experience with Western riding and Gaited-horse riding, but it was on her long trail rides that she discovered the advantages of natural Rai-riding and she decided to immediately switch to bit-less riding.
For more than 10 years, Andrea and her husband Markus were leading the riding- and trainingcenter Finca Verde on the island of Teneriffa. It got to be known as the 'Center for Humans and Horses'.
Since 2008 Andrea, Markus and their two daughters Livia and Alina have been living in Waldshut-Tiengen (Germany). Andrea teaches in the training center 'Farmers Place' in Kleindöttingen (Switzerland) and in various European countries.
In 2006 Andrea and Markus recorded their first DVD 'Playing rules in the roundpen. Communication or longecircle?' Their first book 'Horsewhispering for children' was published in 2008 followed by a second one in 2010 'Riding free', both by Kosmos Verlag, Germany.
